The RSS gym is located at 55 Carroll St, National Park

Gym membership for athletes of RSS is included in the price of your RSS membership ($80)

 

Members of the public may purchase a gym membership

This is a Winter season rate - and covers from 1 June to 31 October

You receive a 20% discount off the full price - pay $120

You must present your staff card to receive the discount - scan and email it with your gym waiver

ACCESS

The gym is currently setting up a Bluetooth lock which is activated from an app on your phone

Every member has an individual code

 

 

*Becoming a member of RSS only allows gym access for dryland training, not full gym access

 

Please note: RSS take over the gym on 1 June 2019

until then we are unable to answer questions

HOW TO REGISTER FOR GYM MEMBERSHIP

Download and fill in the WINTER GYM WAIVER agreement

Scan* and email it to ruapehusnowsports@gmail.com

We will be in contact to arrange your Bluetooth door code

 

*If you do not have access to a scanner, you can photograph and email your form.

We will arrange a drop off box in the gym for the completed forms

 

 

GYM RULES:
 
DON'T DROP WEIGHTS

Dropping weights on the floor can cause injury to yourself or others and can also damage the equipment itself. Always set it down as gently as you can.

 

RETURN OR REMOVE WEIGHTS WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED WITH THEM

This is a simple matter of courtesy to whoever is using the equipment after you. Not everybody can or wants to unload ten 45-pound plates off the leg press machine. Place dumbbells back on the rack in the slots where they belong and always remove your weights from the machines unless the next person specifically asks you to leave them on.

 

WEAR PROPER ATTIRE

Wear appropriate clothing for exercise. This mainly refers to shoes but can include things such as wearing jeans in the gym.

 

SWEAT HOGS

Wipe benches off if you sweat all over them. It's even better to put down a towel before you use the bench. You don’t want to lie in other peoples sweat so extend them the same courtesy.
